Green Tea has been known to pack a serious nutritional punch. One great way to reap the benefits of it is by throwing it into your smoothie. Green Tea contains a large amount of catechins per serving. Catechins are antioxidants which have the ability to help prevent the damage of cells. In addition, thanks to the celery in this smoothie, you are also supporting healthy digestion and reducing inflammation.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Scoop of Kaizen Vanilla Whey
- 11/2 handfuls of baby spinach
- ½ cup of pineapple chunks
- ½ a green apple
- 3 sprigs mint
- 2 stalks of celery
- 2 tbsp of cashew butter
- 1 cup unsweetened green tea, chilled
- 1 cup ice
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth. Pour into a large glass and enjoy!
