Make your busy mornings hassle-free with this quick and delicious breakfast recipe.
Eating right is all about proper planning and preparation. Overnight oats are a great option because they’re packed with protein so they’ll give you the energy you need to take on the day. This recipe is so easy that you can make a few of these cups at once so your breakfast is ready to go for the entire week.
Ingredients:
(Serves 1)
½ cup milk (or almond milk)
½ cup rolled oats
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ cup raspberries
½ banana, sliced
1 tbsp coconut, shredded (optional)
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine the milk, oats, and cinnamon.
- Place some of the mixture into the bottom of a cup or jar, and then put some of the raspberries and banana on top.
- Add the rest of the milk/oatmeal/cinnamon mixture, and top with the shredded coconut.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight (or for at least five hours).
